Any students going into MS or HS that are interested in running cross country this fall: There are weekly workouts that will be posted on the "Baseline Middle School Track, and Cross Country" Facebook Page. This is a private page, so if you are interested please visit and request to be added to the group. Locations, days and times will be posted weekly.

All Student Athletes and Parents -- FinalForms has now rolled over to the upcoming 23-24 school/athletic year. All students and parents MUST log in (using their existing username and password) to update their forms. Unless you are new to FinalForms, in most cases this simply means verifying your existing information. Parents and students are BOTH required to update their forms.
All questions can be directed to the South Haven Athletic Department at 269-637-0503.

See the attached flyer for open tennis nights at the High School Courts. All female players are welcome.

MS Soccer -- Coach Holtzman will be running a weekly co-ed pickup soccer game for middle schoolers on Tuesdays at North Shore from 6:00-7:00 pm, starting this week (6/13). Anyone from incoming 6th graders to 8th graders who just graduated are welcome to come and play.

I was recently having a conversation with a parent of an outgoing senior athlete. He expressed that he would miss hanging around the ballfields, to which I replied, “have you ever thought about officiating?“
Officiating is a tough job. Many good officials are getting older, or poor behavior has chased them out of their role. We need good officials more than ever. Due to the law of supply and demand, officiating rates have recently gone up significantly. Here are some examples of what the SAC Conference will pay next year:
Var. Football -- $120 per game
Var. Softball & Baseball -- $180 per double header
Freshman Basketball -- $60 per game
Var. Wrestling -- $90 per dual meet
Track Starter -- $110 per dual meet
If you love sports, are a recent grad who wants to stay involved in the sport you love, or just someone looking to make a little extra money, see the attached document for the SAC Conference. It is intended for recent grads, but provides information about how to get registered as an official, and how to join an officials' association. If you need more information, please contact the South Haven Athletic Office at 269-637-0503.

FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL/ATHLETIC YEAR:
Any athlete that played a sport in MS or HS this year and was registered in FinalForms will receive an email later this month requesting that they update their information. This should be MUCH easier than your initial registration and will need to be done before your athlete begins his/her sport.
Any incoming 6th grader, or any student who did not play sports this year but plans on doing so next year, must register through FinalForms to be eligible to participate in school-sponsored sports. You can find a full explanation of the registration process by going to: https://www.shps.org/o/athletics/article/800654
Questions can be directed to the South Haven Athletic Office. Have a great summer.
