Tomorrow's home basketball games have been cancelled for Friday, January 12, due to impending inclement weather. We will reschedule the games and those dates will be communicated to the public when they are confirmed.
Competitive Cheer -- The Allegan Tiger Rumble Competitive Cheer Competition, scheduled for this Saturday (1/13/24), has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Junior Varsity Wrestling -- Portage Northern has cancelled Friday's (1/12/24) JV Wrestling Invitational and has rescheduled for next Friday, 1/19. However, the SH may not attend due to existing scheduling obligations. The event will be taken off of our online schedule. More information will be available through your coaches in the near future, but we will NOT be travelling to Portage Northern tomorrow.
Ram Fans -- With a winter storm predicted for this weekend, we anticipate possible changes or cancellations to the South Haven Athletic Schedule. These will be pushed out on our website, Instagram and Facebook pages as they happen. Thank you and stay warm!
Varsity Bowling -- Today's match at Coloma has been rescheduled for Monday, 2/12 at 4:00 @ Strikers. Sorry for any confusion this may cause. Thank you.
South Haven High School Wrestling will celebrate their Senior Night tomorrow (Wednesday, 1/10/24) at home when they wrestle Allegan and Delton-Kellogg. The match begins at 6:00 and senior recognition will take place beforehand. Come out and support our senior wrestlers!

Ram Power continues on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:00 pm in the HS weight room.
Ram Power focuses on speed and strength improvement to help our athletes work toward their personal and team goals.
One of our off-season goals is to increase the number of our student-athletes working together. All middle school and high school athletes are welcome regardless of sport or gender.

Reminder: MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL & WRESTLING -- Will begin practice on Monday, January 8, 2024.
WRESTLING practice will be run in Baseline's Cafeteria immediately after school until 5:00 pm. Athletes should bring appropriate clothing & shoes.
GIRLS BASKETBALL will run tryouts in the BMS Gym from January 8-10. Practice slots by grade will be:
6th grade: 2:45-4:15 pm
7th grade: 4:15-5:45 pm
8th grade: 5:45-7:15 pm
Please remember that your student MUST have a physical on file in order to tryout or practice. Any athlete without a physical will NOT be allowed to begin practices.

South Haven Athletics has announced the inductees for the 2024 South Haven High School Athletic Hall of Fame. They are Mark Lewis, Christina Pigozzi, Marlee Wilson and Nick Wilson. See the attached press release for more information. The inductions will be made on February 2, between the home varsity basketball games.
Varsity Girls Basketball -- the team will participate in the Bangor Holiday Invitational on January 3 & 5 at Bangor HS. South Haven will face off against Bangor on 1/3 at 7:30 pm. The loser of that game will play at 6:00 pm on Friday, 1/5, while the winner will play in the championship game at 7:30 pm.

Rams Aquatic Club -- Due to inclement weather, both RAC practice and tonight's MS swim meet have been cancelled for tonight (Monday, 12/18/23).

Bowling -- Monday's (12/18) scrimmage and JV matches with Niles Brandywine have been cancelled due to weather.

REMINDER: MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING and MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL will begin practice immediately after Christmas Break on Monday, January 8. Specific start times will be forthcoming.

Varsity Boys Swim & Dive -- Due to the small number of swimmers on both Allegan and Hastings this season, we have decided to combine their two dual meets with South Haven into one three-team meet on Tuesday, 1/9/24. Therefore, we will no longer host Hastings this coming Tuesday (12/19), but instead swim against both schools when they come to our pool in January. The online schedule should now be updated and correct.
