HS Girls Tennis -- Official practice will begin on Monday, March 14.
If the weather permits, practice will be held from 2:45-4:30 pm at the SHHS Tennis Courts. If practice needs to be inside, it will run from 4:00-5:30 pm in Lincoln Elementary's Gym.
Athletes should bring athletic clothes and shoes, a racket and water.
All students wishing to participate MUST have a completed physicals on file to practice or play.

Thursday (3/3) is senior night for the boys varsity basketball team. We'll be celebrating our seniors: Damon Jackson, Carson Rooker and Wesley Small. Come on out and support the Rams as they face Covert at 6:00 pm. Seniors will be recognized before the game at approximately 5:45 pm.

District Basketball -- MHSAA Tournament play begins for the girls varsity team this week, and for the boys team next week.
The girls varsity basketball team will face Coloma at Berrien Springs on Wednesday, 3/2, at 7:00 pm.
The boys team will host their district tournament in South Haven next week. The Rams will also play Coloma in the first round on Monday, 3/7, at 7:00 pm.

Spring sports are just around the corner and South Haven Athletics wants to remind athletes and parents that everyone MUST have an updated physical on file to participate in middle school & high school sports. As winter sports begin to wind down, we want to once again give encourage our athletes to attend Ram Power.
Ram Power is our speed and strength program. It is open to all athletes in grades 6-12 of any gender. The weekly schedule is Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 2:45- 4:00 pm in the high school weight room. Training is an essential ingredient to successful athletics. It increases speed, strength, confidence, and recovery time. Training also decreases the volume and severity of injuries. Athletes who want to get better are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Questions can be directed to Coach Mark Eddy at meddy@shps.org.
All HS girls interested in playing tennis this spring should plan to attend a meeting on Monday, February 28th right after school in the ILC. Any questions, please contact Coach Koehler.

Boys varsity basketball will conduct their senior night on Thursday, 3/3, before their last home game against Covert HS at approximately 5:45 pm.
We will also be honoring wrestling senior Ray Woodall this Friday (2/25) at halftime of the varsity basketball game against Brandywine. Ray's senior night was cancelled earlier this month due to inclement weather.
Come on out and support our seniors as they get ready to wrap up their winter seasons.
