Rams Aquatic Club practice is canceled for Friday (1/7).
All Baseline MS sports practices (basketball, wrestling & comp. cheer) are canceled for Friday (1/7). We are waiting until sometime around noon to make a decision on high school activities.
The following teams and organizations will NOT practice Thursday (1/6) due to inclement weather:
Little Rams Youth Basketball, Rams Aquatic Club, Middle School Wrestling, Middle School Girls Basketball, Middle School Competitive Cheer, High School Competitive Cheer, Varsity Boys Swim and Dive, Freshman and JV Boys Basketball, Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling.

Rams Aquatic Club -- the MS meet and practice has been cancelled for Wednesday, 1/5/22, due to inclement weather.
MS Girls Basketball -- the first girls basketball game against Benton Harbor, originally scheduled for Wednesday, 1/12, has been cancelled.

Middle School Wrestling -- practice will begin on Monday, January 3. It will be held in Baseline's cafeteria from 3-5 pm. Wrestling is open to athletes in grades 6-8. Wrestlers MUST have a physical on file to participate.
Middle School Girls Basketball -- tryouts for girls in grades 6-8 will be held on Jan. 3-Jan. 5 from 5:00-7:00 pm in Baseline's Gym. Girls wishing to participate MUST have a physical on file in order to try out. Any questions can be directed to Adam Verseput at averseput@shps.org
Middle School Basketball -- Sorry for the confusion. The MS basketball game against Buchanan has been moved again. We will now play Buchanan at Buchanan HS on Tuesday (12/14). The 7th grade will begin at 5:30 and the 8th grade 6:30 pm.
REMINDER -- Little Rams registration will be held today from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the HS cafeteria. Not only do we need players, BUT ALSO COACHES. See our article for more details: https://www.shps.org/o/athletics/article/599723
Middle school basketball -- the last game of the year for both 7th and 8th grade was originally next Thursday (12/16) at Buchanan. This conflicts with the Collage Concert, so the game has been rescheduled for Wednesday (12/15) at HOME instead. The 7th grade will begin at 4:30 and the 8th will begin at 5:30.
The Little Rams Boys Youth Basketball Program will begin in January. Sign-ups will be in the South Haven High School Cafeteria on Tuesday, December 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, and at Baseline Middle School on Saturday, December 11 from 10:00 am-noon. NOTE TO SPORTS PARENTS: An increasing number of local districts are now requiring masks of spectators and coaches as we move into the winter season. For example, Lakeshore, St. Joseph & Kalamazoo Public Schools will require masks if you travel to an away event next week. South Haven Athletics recommends you plan on bringing a mask to all away events, and asks that you comply with whatever local rules are in place. Thank you!!
Middle school wrestling and girls basketball will begin practice on Monday, January 3, immediately following Christmas Break. These sports are available to kids in grades 6-8. Specific details will be released in December. Please remember that athletes MUST have a physical on file to participate.

Middle school basketball practice for all three grades has been cancelled for Friday, November 19. 6th grade WILL still play their games tomorrow at the high school.
