Below is a listing of start information for spring sports for both South Haven High School and Baseline Middle School. We will continue to add to this list as more specific information becomes available.
Please note that all athletes wishing to participate in spring sports MUST have a sports physical completed by a physician ON OR AFTER April 15, 2021. Athletes without a physical cannot play or practice. You can find a link to the MHSAA Sports Physical Form by clicking HERE.
Boys High School Baseball -- HS Baseball -- Tryouts will be held for boys in grades 9-12 beginning Monday, March 14. They will run from 2:45-5:00 pm in either the gym or outdoors, depending on the weather. Participants should bring athletic clothing, appropriate shoes and baseball gear (bat, glove, etc.). Girls High School Softball -- Official practice will begin for girls in grades 9-12 on Monday, March 14. Practice will be held inside the SHHS Gym from 5:00-7:00 pm unless the weather allows for us to go outside. Girls should bring indoor shoes, athletic clothing and softball gear (helmet, glove, bat, etc.). All participants must have a valid physical on file in the office to practice, Contact Coach Wilson with questions.
Girls High School Soccer -- Official practice will begin Monday, March 14 from 6:00-7:30 pm at the North Shore Elementary Soccer Field. We do plan on playing outside so players should bring cleats, shin guards and something to drink. Questions can be directed to Coach Carlos Aguayo.
Girls High School Tennis -- Official practice will begin on Monday, March 14. If the weather permits, practice will be held from 2:45-4:30 pm at the SHHS Tennis Courts. If practice needs to be inside, it will run from 4:00-5:30 pm in Lincoln Elementary's Gym. Athletes should bring athletic clothes and shoes, a racket and water. All students wishing to participate MUST have a completed physicals on file to practice or play. If you have questions contact Coach Koehler at email@example.com.
Boys/Girls High School Track -- Practice begins on Monday, 3/14, from 3:00-5:00 pm in the SHHS Cafeteria. Whether we practice indoor or outdoors will depend on the weather. Boys High School Golf -- Official practice will begin on Monday, March 14. Practice will likely begin in Baseline's gym from 3:00-5:00 pm until the weather gets nicer, at which time it will move to Beeches golf course. Athletes are encouraged to bring appropriate clothes and clubs if they have them. Questions can be directed to Coach Anastacio at email@example.com.
Girls Middle School Soccer -- Official practice begins on Wednesday, 3/23 at North Shore's Soccer Fields from 3:00-4:30 pm. This year MS girls soccer is an official school sport, so participants must be a Baseline student in grades 6-8 and have a completed physical on file in the office. Players should bring athletic clothes and shoes (preferably cleats), water and shin guards. All questions can be directed to Coach Holzman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Boys/Girls Middle School Track --Middle School Track -- Will begin official practice on Wednesday, 3/23 immediately after school in the Baseline MS Gymnasium until 4:30 pm. After the first day, the team will be going to the track if weather permits. Athletes should bring athletic clothes and shoes, as well as something to drink.
