Both 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams will begin practice with tryouts on August 23-25 from 5:00-7:00 pm on August 23-25 at the Baseline Middle School Gym. Because Wednesday (8/25) is Baseline’s Open House, tryouts will run 6:00-8:00 pm on that day.
Interested athletes should plan to attend all three days and anyone planning on playing who CANNOT come should communicate with the coaches beforehand. Questions for 8th graders can be directed to Coach Melissa Blair at blairmelissa31@gmail.com, and questions for 7th graders can be directed to Coach Julie Sheppard at jsheppard@shps.org.
Athletes should bring athletic shoes and clothing, knee pads and a water bottle to practices. Please remember that anyone wishing to play a school-sponsored sport must have the proper physical paperwork before they can play or practice.
