School Safety Public Forum - March 8, 2018
Posted on 03/05/2018

As you know, it is with great sadness that we, along with the rest of the nation, reflect on the tragedy that took place in Parkland, Florida last month. In the wake of such a terrible act, it is important to share with our community and parents the many ways we are diligently working to prevent any level of school violence at South Haven Public Schools. For this reason, South Haven Public Schools along with the South Haven Police Department and the South Haven Area Emergency Services Authority will host a School Safety Public Forum on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Listiak Auditorium from 6:00 – 7:30 PM.

Topics for discussion are as follows:

A.     Procedures for handling threats to the building
         -Dr. Herrera, Superintendent of Schools
B.     Communications to parents and the school community
         -Dr. Herrera, Superintendent of Schools

-Kevin Dee, Director of Non-Instructional Services
