Students at North Shore were faced with a challenge on March 29, 2019! Pigeon (a character in Mo Willems' Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus), was so excited to drive the school bus to his spring break destination that he accidentally locked the keys in his luggage! Students had to use their critical thinking, algorithm, and problem solving skills to crack the code to Pigeon's luggage in 45 minutes... or else they'd be stuck at the North Shore Elementary for spring break!

This activity was part of the positive behavior interventions and supports at North Shore. Students had the option of cashing in their points received for positive behavior to purchase the experience. Thank you to iCreate Lab teacher, Mary Phillips, for continually coming up with new and exciting ways to engage our students!
