Children may go on summer vacation, but hunger doesn't. South Haven Public Schools Summer Program bridges the summer hunger gap and lets our children known that the community cares about their well-being all year long. Beyond fighting hunger, summer nutrition programs support quality programming for young people by boosting attendance at summer enrichment activities and providing the nutrition children need to fuel their day.
Summer Meals Programs must meet federal nutrition standards, ensuring that children continue to have access to the healthy, well balanced foods they receive throughout the year.
Anyone 18 years of age or under is eligible for free meals!
Look for the "FARM Bus" (Fun, Activities, Reading, and meals) visiting our mobile sites bringing with it our traveling library filled with books, nutrition education, fun giveaways, and more!
