Get your child's teacher assignment - August 19, 2019 through Parent Portal

We are excited to announce online Returning Student Registration for the upcoming 2019-20 school year!

This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each  school year. Your returning student's registration is now available online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

How do I get started?
A notification email was sent to all parents/guardians who have a valid email account on file in PowerSchool. If you have not received a notification email and have a valid email address on file, please contact us at enrollment@shps.org

If you already have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account (the online platform that allows parents to view grades, attendance, etc.), follow this link to login: https://pssouthhaven.berrienresa.org/public/

In the bottom left corner of the Parent Portal you will find the icon for "Annual Re-Registration"

Click this icon and follow the instructions on screen.

Do I have to answer all questions?
Required questions are marked as "required."

What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined filed or click "<Prev" to return to a previous page.

I've completed the form; now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click "Submit." This will send all of the information you've entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.

What if I have more than one student at South Haven Public Schools District?
Do I need to do this for each child? Yes, because you'll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you submit one returning student registration and then start another - this will allow you to "snap over" shared family information, which will save you time.

I don't know what a question is asking.

How do I access my student's teacher assignment?
To access your child's teacher assignment (when released on August 19, 2019), you will need to log in to your Parent Portal. In mid-August, a letter will be mailed to your mailing address containing your Access ID and Access Password for each of your students and instructions on how to create a Parent Portal account. If you have not accessed your Parent Portal in the past, please use this information to create your account.
