High School Daily Announcements for Thursday, November 20, 2008


*South Haven High School will present the murder mystery, The Butler Did It on Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22 at 8:00 pm in Listiak Auditorium. Tickets may be purchased at the ticket booth across from the office during fourth hour or at the door on the night of the performance. A twenty five dollar gift certificate to Clementine’s will be awarded to the person who successfully guesses the murder during intermission at each night’s performance. The winner will be determined by a drawing. Please support the South Haven High School Theater Department.

*Attention Seniors, Senior Class T-shirts and Hoodies are now on sale in the High School Office. Cost for the t-shirt is $13.00 and cost for the hoodies is $19.00. Stop by the office and order your t-shirt/hoodie today. Last day to order is 12/5. Money for the shirts/hoodies will be collected from Wednesday, December 3 through Friday, December 5th.

*THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY WILL BE SPONSORING A CANNED FOOD DRIVE FOR THE WE CARE PANTRY. STUDNETS SHOULD BRING IN THEIR CANNED GOODS TO 3RD HOUR. LET’S PULL TOGETHER AND HELP SUPPORT FAMILIES IN NEED AND GIVE “RATIONS FOR RAMS”

*All varsity football players must stop by Mr. Nichols room to pick up information regarding post season banquet and meetings.

*If you are interested in information on the Festival of Tress………..stop by the office.

*Bowling try-outs today at Lakeside Lanes 3:00 p.m. All interested in bowling please sign up in the office.

*Seniors need to start turning in their senior pictures. Please turn them into the yearbook room during zero hour or get them to Brittany Dean. They must be turned in by December 19th at the very latest. If one is not turned in by the deadline, your portrait in the yearbook will be your most recent school picture.

*Shoreline Wellness Center is looking for 6 students to help move furniture for their holiday party on December 13th from 3-6 pm. Please contact the YES office on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Also the Art Center needs help with Mistletoe Market starting this Friday. Also contact the YES office. There are also many other opportunities to help in the community.

*Attention members of YAC be sure to turn in your pumpkin pie order forms to Chelsea Fitzgibbon or Erika Daggett by this Friday. Also sign up in the office for a shift for pie baking.

*A representative from Manchester College will be here today @12:30 in the Media Center. A representative from Lake Michigan College will be here on Thursday at 8:45 in the student lounge. Pick up your passes from the guidance office.

*The Diversity Club will today after school at 2:30 p.m. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Meeting will be brief- 2:30 – 3, Room 16. Any questions see Ms. Hardina.

*Anyone interested in joining the Men’s Swim Team this winter, there will be a meeting today at 2:30 in the Pool bleachers.
